Given the size of our business we are not required to appoint a data protection officer. Please direct all data protection questions to the address above.

When you open this website, your browser transmits technically necessary data to our hosting provider. Recorded are: the page requested, the date and time of access, the volume of data transferred, the referrer URL, the browser used and its version, the operating system, and a shortened IP address.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the technically faultless operation and the security of the website. This data is not merged with other data sources and is deleted after 14 days at the latest.

This website is operated on infrastructure provided by Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA. Pages for visitors from Europe are served from within the European Union.

A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the provider. For transfers to the USA we rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses under Art. 46 (2) (c) GDPR and on the provider's certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

The legal basis for using the host is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in providing this website securely and reliably.

We set no cookies for advertising or analytics purposes. Only the following are technically necessary:

a language cookie set by next-intl, which stores your language choice (English or German) for one year;

an entry in your browser's local storage recording that you have seen the cookie notice and whether you have released the Google map.

The legal basis is § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR: without these entries the site could not provide its basic functions. They never leave your browser.

Your count in the price calculator is neither stored nor transmitted to us. It disappears when you leave the page — unless you explicitly send it to us via the contact form.

The pane calculator works exclusively in your browser. Your count, the window types you pick and the price calculated are not transmitted to our server unless you click “Send this count to us” and submit the contact form yourself.

We do not require an email address or any kind of registration in order to show you the price.

If you write to us through the contact form, we process the data you provide: name, email address, optionally a telephone number, the district or street, and the content of your message including any count you send with it.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where the enquiry is aimed at concluding a contract, and otherwise Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR on the basis of the consent you give explicitly in the form.

You may withdraw your consent at any time without formality, for example by email to hallo@glasklar-fensterdienst.de. The lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal is unaffected.

Enquiries that do not lead to an order are deleted at the latest six months after the last message. If the enquiry leads to an order, the commercial and tax retention periods of six and ten years respectively under § 257 HGB and § 147 AO apply.

To carry out a cleaning job we process your name, the address of the property, contact details, information about access, and invoicing data. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.

Invoicing data is passed to our tax advisers, who are themselves bound by professional confidentiality. It is not passed to any other third party, and never for advertising purposes.

In the service-area section you can switch on a map from Google Maps. It is loaded only after you explicitly click the “Load the map” button. Before that no connection to Google is made and none of your data is transmitted.

Once loaded, your browser transmits in particular your IP address to Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. A transfer to Google LLC in the USA cannot be ruled out; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and § 25 (1) TDDDG. Your consent applies to the current session only and can be withdrawn at any time by reloading the page or clearing your browser's local storage.

The map is pure convenience. The site works completely without it; the districts and the radius are also drawn without involving Google.

Review texts on this website are reproduced as quotations. No Google widget is embedded and no Google script is loaded. The link to our Google profile is an ordinary hyperlink: data is transmitted to Google only once you click it.

The Kumbh Sans and Work Sans typefaces are not fetched from Google servers. They are downloaded when the site is built and served from our own server, so opening the page establishes no connection to Google Fonts.

You have the right at any time to information about the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR), to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) and to withdraw consent you have given (Art. 7 (3) GDPR).

You further have the right, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to object at any time to processing of data concerning you which is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR).

An informal email to hallo@glasklar-fensterdienst.de is enough. We answer within one month.

Without prejudice to any other remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Baden-Württemberg, Lautenschlagerstraße 20, 70173 Stuttgart, Germany.

There is no automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR. The price calculator is simply an arithmetic aid; quotes and orders are always decided by a person.

We will adapt this privacy policy whenever the legal situation or our processing changes. The version published on this page is the one that applies.
